From Surviving to Thriving — Together
Hi, I’m Katrina Hockey, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m the founder and sole provider at ThriveLine: Telepsychiatry & Mental Wellness, PLLC. I started ThriveLine because I wanted to offer something different from the rushed, transactional medication management so many people have experienced. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported — where psychiatric care is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to you.
Think of ThriveLine as the passenger seat while you take the wheel — I’ll help guide the way, but you’re in control of your journey from surviving to thriving.
Along the way, I pursued advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International, and developed special interests in co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions.
At ThriveLine, care isn’t “just prescriptions.” I believe healing is most effective when it’s:
Life outside of ThriveLine is full and grounding. I share life in rural Maine with my husband, my 16-year-old stepdaughter, our 3-year-old son, and our dog, Vito (a spirited standard-size Mexican Hairless). I was born and raised in Canada and am now a proud dual citizen of Canada and the United States — my roots in both places have shaped my values of resilience, connection, and community.
I enjoy playing outside with my son, cooking, baking, reading, and unplugging to take in the simple things. Hiking mountains has always been a passion — there’s something profound about pushing yourself to the limit and being met with empowering views — even if these days, family life keeps most of my climbs closer to home. In the winter, you’ll often find me sledding down the hill on our property, and in the summer, swimming at our camp.
I find taking in the beauty of nature — in every season — deeply grounding.
Katrina believes in the importance of balance and emotional well-being — both for patients and clinicians. Vito helps her stay grounded and present, often inspiring the practice’s gentle approach to mental health.
Katrina has been so much help. She has a very caring attitude and actually listens. She knows everyone is different and has given options tailored to my unique circumstances. I’m continually getting better under her care and highly recommend her to anyone who feels like they’re at a standstill.
Katrina is so helpful. I feel comfortable sharing with her and couldn’t ask for more. She listens and truly cares about us all. She explains everything and answers all my questions about my meds. She has helped me so much in my recovery, and I’m so grateful to have her as my doctor.
